New Products:

CELLTREAT Scientific Products has improved the design of CELLTREAT Centrifuge Tubes. The new tubes have an RCF rating of 12,000g, a 50ml printed line and 1-3ml molded conical graduations. New foam rack tubes are now available with reduced prices. Visit the Centrifuge Tube section for more information. CELLTREAT has added a line of syringe filters to our Filtration products. June 2010:

New Products:

CELLTREAT Scientific Products has added Bottle Top Filters to the current line of Filter Systems. CELLTREAT Bottle Top filters are available in 150, 250 and 500mL sizes with a PES filter membrane in .22 and .45 micron pore sizes. May 2010:

New Product:

CELLTREAT Scientific Products is collaborating with 3D Biotek to supply novel, high-tech 3D cell culture products. The first products available are cell culture multiwell plates with 3D Inserts^TM, a series of 3D scaffolds, for three dimensional cell and tissue culture. The scaffolds provide a consistent, reproducible, non-animal derived platform for three-dimensional cell growth, which mimics in vivo cellular environment more accurately. CELLTREAT Scientific Products has added six new packaging configurations to current products. Non-sterile centrifuge tubes are now available either racked or bulk with caps detached. Also, inoculating loops in 1µl and 10 µl sizes are now available individually packaged.

CELLTREAT Scientific Products has 11 new products available and ready to ship. The new products include 150mL Filter Systems, Bulk Pack Serological Pipets, Aspirating Pipets, multipack 150mm tissue culture dishes and a new 100mm x 20mm tissue culture dish with a gripping ring.

Distribution:

CELLTREAT Scientific Products announces the addition of Canadawide Scientific as an authorized, full product line, distribution partner.

Canadawide Scientific was founded in 1976 and is located in Ottawa, Ontario. Canadawide Scientific is one of the few 100% Canadian owned companies selling instruments, supplies and chemicals to the scientific community across Canada. Rich Happell, CELLTREAT Scientific Products Director of Operations says, "We are excited to expand our business into Canada with the exceptional service from Canadawide."

Product Improvements:

CELLTREAT has made several improvements to our current line of products, available now. These improvements have come from our commitment to listen to our customers as we strive to meet their needs.

• The molds for all CELLTREAT multi well tissue culture plates have been improved to include a gripping ring to ensure a secure grip when handling.
• A 50mL line mold has been added to our 50mL centrifuge tubes.
• The plug material in all CELLTREAT Serological Pipets has been upgraded to a premium material creating a filter barrier, outperforming standard cotton plugs.
• The mouthpiece of CELLTREAT 25mL Serological pipets has been remolded ensuring a universal fit in standard pipettors.

New Products:

In addition to the new products added in June, CELLTREAT will launch 11 new products at the end of September. These include bulk pack Serological pipets, Aspirating pipets and a new 100mm x 20mm Tissue Culture Dish with many added premium features. This dish includes a gripping ring on the base, frosted marking spot, numerical clock locators and improved stacking rings. CELLTREAT Scientific Products announces the addition of Chemglass Life Sciences and Krackeler Scientific as authorized, full product line, distribution partners.

Chemglass was founded in 1946, and is located in Vineland, NJ. For over 60 years Chemglass has operated as a glassware manufacturer, fabricating standard catalog items and custom components. On January 1, 2009 Chemglass changed their name to Chemglass Life Sciences and has expanded their product selection to include a wide selection of products for chromatography and cell culture. Rich Happell, CELLTREAT Scientific Products Director of Operations says, "We are excited to build on the Chemglass tradition of excellence in manufacturing and service to the scientific research community."

Krackeler Scientific, Inc, was founded in 1951 and is located in Albany, NY. Krackeler Scientific is recognized as a leading distributor of quality scientific products. Krackeler offers a comprehensive product selection representing all of the leading scientific manufacturers. New Products:

On June 1, 2009 CELLTREAT Scientific Products will introduce 13 new products to complement their existing selection of laboratory research tools. The new products include inoculating loops, petri (non-treated) dishes, micro centrifuge tubes, solution bottles and filter systems. Gerry Stone, CELLTREAT Scientific Products Director of Sales, says, "We are always on the look-out for ways to better serve our customers. The new CELLTREAT products are being introduced as the result of requests from customers to expand our product offering." February 2009:

CELLTREAT Scientific Products announces the addition of AJ Cope & Son, the UK's largest independent supplier of laboratory products as a full product line, authorized distribution partner.

A. J. Cope is an independent, family-owned company with over 150 years of experience of supplying laboratory equipment and supplies. The company traces its origins to 1849 with only one serious interruption in 1941 when, during the Second World War, the entire manufacturing plant was destroyed. Manufacture was restarted within weeks. Since that time the company's activities have expanded to include the distribution of laboratory equipment, glassware and chemicals through the UK and abroad.

Rich Happell, CELLTREAT Scientific Products Director of Operations reports, "The addition of AJ Cope as a distribution partner is part of our overall growth strategy. We are excited about the opportunity to serve the UK & European markets with the assistance of an experienced distribution company that possesses a working knowledge of the regional marketplace."

December 2008:

On November 17th, 2008 CELLTREAT Scientific Products relocated from its original Fitchburg, MA headquarters to their new headquarters in Phoenix Park, Shirley, MA. Rich Happell, Director of Operations says, "The new location provides us with additional office space, more than doubles our warehouse space and provides us with additional shipping docks which makes expediting customer orders much more efficient."
